with just a sprinkling of Asians, socialized medicine, and a cold climate. None of those cities have significant populations of Blacks, Hispanics or Arabs and none of them are in warm climates.
Toronto and Vancouver have quite large ethnic populations, and even Calgary has a significant number of Asian-Canadians and Muslims. It's common to see Muslim women in their head scarves in my neighbourhood. Plus, a good percentage of the nurses in the hospital systems I work for are Hispanic or Philipino. In my office I work with two white people, four people who were born in China or Japan, and one person of Asian descent (second or third generation Canadian, I believe).
In fact, Calgary even has a Muslim mayor, Naheed Nenshi. So, you know, you kind of don't know what you're talking about, I'm afraid.
Also, there are four Australian cities on the list, and one New Zealand, none of which has a cold climate. Vancouver is very warm year-round as well. I don't know about Vienna, but we already have a majority (6/10) of the list that have warm climates, so ...
