Just do not take it too seriously and if you want to participate but have no kids, just use your imagination
Pfft! Like I ever take anything seriously!
1) If you could choose which month your baby would come to the world, would you have a preference? If you're a woman, do you consider seasons and pregnancy stages?
I have never given it a single thought, as my thoughts on children tend more towards the "OMG NO" type. But let's say spring. I think springtime would be appropriate. Maybe May. April was always too cold for me to have an outside b-day party, but may might be more clement to doing something fun outside for a party for the little rat.
2) If you could choose, what would be the ideal time interval between consecutive siblings?
Umm... Infinity. As in, if ever I have a kid, I fully intend on depriving it of the joys of sibling rivalry. Let's be honest here. If ever I have a kid, it'll be crazier than me because some guy would have to be crazy enough to be with me to make that kid, therefore it would be a distillation of two crazies, therefore... Well... Yeah. The idea of taking care of one scares me to death given what a bad job I do of taking care of myself. Taking care of more than one? Yikes. I'd just be popping out fodder for psychologists to write books on!
3) If you could choose, would you choose to have twins or triplets or a single baby?
If I could chose, I'd chose zero.
4) Do you like buying baby clothes? And toys?
Oddly, given my lack of interest in having one myself, yes. Friends with babies love this. Friends with toddlers love this more... So do the toddlers given my proximity to Disney & ability to take advantage of a family member's company discount...
5) Have you really noticed pregnant women having a weird, really weird, behavior (behavior for Joel)?
... ... ... No?
6) Do you think children are totally overrated?
No. I think they're scary as hell. Or at least the idea of one of my own is scary as hell. Other people's kids are adorable... Mostly.
7) What are your prime considerations in the choosing of a school?
*blink blink blink* I guess that would depend first on what region I'm in and second on what the kid's intrests are. If he/she has something specific in mind right from the get-go I'd try to get them to a Magnet school. I hated when my mom got re-stationed and I had to leave the arts magnet school I was in.
8) Already in kindergarten?
*faint*
9) Have you considered what would happen to your children if you passed away, if so have you taken some legal steps?
No, and no. But if children appeared in my future, I certainly would!
10) How was your day today?
Blessedly boring. After all the drama that's been involved in moving, I'm happy that it's 99% over now. The highlight of the day was a call from a friend confirming she got my care package safe and sound, and that her little girl thought it was like Christmas! I sent her an Ariel costume and a Flounder plushie... I forgot what other plushies I sent. I friggen love plushies!
Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience with my lightheadedness
Thank you for your understanding and patience with my silliness. *raises hard cider bottle in toast*
I lurk a lot...
