And that won't happen unless Syria is stupid enough to do something that will turn Russia and China against them. And killing your own people is certainly not stupid enough for those two countries. Now, if they'd launch a full-scale attack against Turkey (which they won't if they can put two and two together and come reasonably close) or something similar, then they would probably find themselves on their own.
But the latest news from Syria look more positive, even though I doubt much good will actually come out from it in the foreseeable future.
