It can get very expensive if you're going a long way (e.g. Edinburgh to London – flying is usually cheaper), but I don't think £26 each way is enough to make it worth taking a separate holiday another time.
that's about the same as flying to newcastle, but it's not as bad as I feared. maybe I'll do that. always wanted to visit scotland . do you live in edinburgh?
