On being the 1st to try and score cheap political points. He seems to think this is a backlash against the upper class and the man from the disenfranchised in society. Honestly what world does he live in, it's a bunch of thugs who think it's funny to burn stuff, hit stuff and nick stuff, and nothing more.
They wouldn't even know who or what the man is, never mind having the wherewithal to lash against him.
He pissed me off a fair bit with using this as part of his election campaign. He did make fair points though - Boris should have been back after Saturday night and I think he is quite right that disenfranchisement is a major factor in this. I don't recall him just saying it was about sticking it to the man but that it was that they felt society didn't give them anything so they didn't feel they had any duty to it.
Some sel important idiot in the Torygraph got straight into the cheap points scoring as well - he accepts there were many factors involved... but he's going to attack multiculturalism and heap all the blame on people who back it.
