I don't know if we can really judge how well the experts have done in cases like this. I can't remember a time when a heisman trophy winner was this hated by the press. Of course I have general lack of faith in media experts to begin with but when they start letting their personal politics come into play I think any average drunk at a sports bar would do a better job especially one that didn't watch football and picking winners based on if he had any ex-girlfriends with similar last names.
