I am not sure where this guy get his idea that the day to day substance existence of a hunter gatherer was such a slap happy good time but he should spend some time digging for wild tubers in the sun with a stick or waiting out a winter in a tiny tent with everyone he knows and that smells like the inside of a mammoth before he starts mooning for their lifestyle.
A lot of people do want to live longer that is why the health industry is booming. If he doesn't he should examine his life style choice. To many of people in western society spend all their waking hours being exposed to advanced marketing designed to make them think they need a bunch of crap they don't really need. If he didn't need all that crap he wouldn't need to take a job he doesn't like. Maybe he just needs to turn the TV off, stop thinking he needs to be entertained and comfortable at all times and just spend some time in the wilderness. Maybe then he will want to hang around a little longer. I know spending some time away form civilization does me a world of good.

There's a difference between being young again when I'm older, and waking up 100 years after death
