I'd die to go! There, and Dragon*Con, those are my dream cons. I just attended my first con last February and I LOVED it, I can't wait to go again. I usually stick to Renaissance festivals, but after going to the con, I'm most definitely sold on those now.

I try to go to faire as often as possible, so about once or twice a month a month I am dressing up as something bewteen faires and faire promotions. I've got some serious money into my garb, and I just dropped about 100$ yesterday and today into do-dads and gadgets to put together my latest creation (birthday money!) and my room floor is covered in craft foam, hot glue sticks, gears and all sorts of awesome crap. But those costumes...I can't even imagine the amount of time and money that went into making them.

No matter what genre, sci-fi, fantasy, historical reenactments, I just love when people come together with such passion. When you spend that much time (or hard earned money) putting your garb together, it really shows. Ga, I want to go so bad!
