Looks like we won't for much longer. The main Dem rolling over for the GOP, however, is Obama; his caucus just gets left hanging when he won't let them take a hard line and promises Boehner he'll make Dems accept Republican demands in exchange for concessions he can't get and Republicans simply renege on if he does. I doubt anyone on either side of the aisle believes anything Obama says at this point; even when he means it he'll still buckle in the end as long as Republicans refuse to budge.
