First of all, I went with some friends who are fashion students, so they decided to make these crazy elaborate costumes. The one guy ended up like eight feet tall* altogether with a giant, glittery hat that was like a stylized mountain or a crystal or something. It was glorious. Anyway, so the minute we stepped out of our hotel room there were all these people who wanted their picture with us and that didn't end until two hours later when the show started. It was like being with someone famous; it was totally surreal.

As it turned out, our seats were really shitty. Rear view ftl. The show was still amazing, though. Say what you like about Lady Gaga, the woman knows how to perform. It was tons of fun. She did Born this Way and You and I on the piano, which was really excellent. I wish she would release an album that was like just her at the piano because I almost think I like those versions of her songs better. It's all good though.
