My day to day life experience hasn't changed at all from one president to the other. About the only real difference is which political party is crying foul about the other on TV (which I don't watch anyways, because doing so is futile).
I voted for Obama because I thought him to be better for it than McCain in the foreign policy arena, not because I bought into the "hope and change" BS. Even then, he's failed to meet the low expectations I set for him. I don't expect to vote Republican in 2012, though, so I will probably explore my third-party options this time 'round.
That was the change we waiting for? And all this time I thought change meant something different. Isn't the reason we elected a guy with no track record of leadership or frankly any real qualifications is that he was bringing change?
