So everyone has notice, this is my way of putting out the word to one and all in one swell foop. I can't say who'll be there, though there are a few I think very likely (ironically, I'm not sure how many of them will see this thread, since many are Chat denizens first and OF readers next. ) Nor can I say when; part of why I'm posting is to give everyone a heads up and find a good time and date for everyone else. I work Wednesday and Thursday night (Stateside) and thus won't be around late either Wednesday or Friday mornings, but tomorrow and the Friday night through early Monday morning are wide open if anyone wants to join us. And I can at least reasonably guarantee an "us" the question is whether it will be two or three or two or three dozen, and the answer, m'friends, lies with YOU!

If you don't have me in your Contact List, feel free to ask; if you don't WANT me in your Contact List, I'm sure there's someone in yours who has me, too, and I don't insist on hosting, only that whoever does host has decent enough internet to keep it going and doesn't kick people for fun. Also, though my intent this time around is to do the actual voice to voice thing (please bring a headset; built in laptop mics are AWFUL for the rest of us ) there's a quite fine text chat on Skype, too, and I still have the one I started when wotmania Chat died open, with 20 people in it, even if there's rarely more than a half dozen in there at any given time. As an added bonus, I may even use thirty minutes or so of Skype credit to call a cell phone into the bargain....

Also, Skype says today is Peace Day; I'm not sure what that is, but it sounds important.

Now to bed; I want an hour or two of sleep before m'girl Skypes ME.
