That's the spirit. It's kind of amazing, and quite impressive; I remember when this happened a lot of people thought Jarrell would cease to exist, but it's still there, and doing fine now. Better than Albertons, by all accounts; the tornado that hit the Albertsons was not far from my house, maybe a mile from my HS (and my house in HS). A stocker almost certainly saved the lives of all the employees and customers by herding them into a walk in freezer, because after the tornado that was all that remained. After that everyone wanted storm cellars, and found out why no one had any prior to then: Dig 4-6" anywhere in Central Texas and you usually hit limestone, meaning 1) storm cellars are liable to flood and 2) have to be blasted, usually with dynamite (seriously). I think the most frightening thing is how unpredictable and sudden tornadoes are; with just about every other weather event you have at least some warning, so if you think it might be really bad you usually have time to evacuate, but you usually won't hear a tornado till it's on top of you, and if you see one you have to hope it's headed somewhere else, because you can't outrun it.
