Tornadoes are probably the only force of nature that truly terrifies me, because they arrive out of nowhere and can inflict such incredible damage. The only blessing is that they usually don't remain intact and on the ground long enough for it to be widespread. This one evidently did both, for which you, your home and your family have my deepest sympathy and fervent prayers. Glad your father is in a safe place now; here's hoping the worst is over, and that the healing and rebuilding proceed swiftly, with minimal additional suffering.
