One: This is an interesting point, and I haven't heard it made before. I vaguely remember the stuff coming up now and again. Of course, the main difference from birthersim (is that a word now?) is that the Trig-theories would never have any practical implications.
Same thing as happened with Birtherism, only Obama's more prominent so his stuck longer, had she won the VP slot some people would probably be saying "Why doesn't she just get a DNA test to prove it?". A lot of people never want to believe anything nice about someone they dislike, or anything bad about someone they like. I think a lot of this stuff sticks around for the sheer entertainment value, same as Charlie Sheen, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton antics amuse and all the X-file-ish conspiracies are exciting to watch even if you don't really believe in Bigfoot.
Two: Why does the American sign for we love you look almost exactly like the satan-sign thing black metal rockers do?
Because the ILY sign is very close to the Sign of the Horns, and the old "Gnarly Dude!" one, and they mixed together, I think. I'm pretty sure the Sign of the Horns (pinky and pointer up) was what the metalheads were trying to make. The first time I recall seeing circa 1990 or so, Metallica Black Album and Grunge Rock era. I would guess some audience was making the I love you gesture at the band on stage to show enthusiasm, and the other were making the Sign of the Horns gesture as some kinda "Hail Satan thing" and most didn't know which was which and it blurred.
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.

I read that as "Tigr-theories" at first. I'd read Tigr-theories. *NM*
