Well not all of them. We just seem to have developed some loud and spectacular morons lately. Or maybe morons isn't the right descriptor. You get my drift regardless.
Morons is usually accurate enough, a pretty big chunk of the people who run for lower offices like state rep or city council or one variation or another of that guy you know who gets pissed off about everything and takes every vagary of fate as a personal slight. Fact is during primary season in '10 a lot of people won just because they were loud and obnoxious and yelled a lot, just one of those years, and most state rep seats are so gerrymandered Hitler would beat Lincoln if he was in the right party.
However, I now totally want to go boar hunting with a proper boar spear. In Montana.
It does have a certain appeal to it, I gather they also legalized silencers for hunting rifles then found out it hadn't actually been illegal. I remember when I was exiled there during the winter a few years back there were hordes of these big eared little deer, didn't see any boars though, saw a lot in Germany and there's not enough liquid courage in the world could get me tangle with one of those big monsters with a spear, sounds pretty cool, I'd love to watch... through a high-powered telescope.
