You are taking this a little to literally. The point I was making was that science proving something as unscientific as a soul would cause me to question everything I know about science. I find it as unlikely that science will prove souls exist and can be passed on as I do that a bunny rabbit hides decorated eggs for children to find. Souls are matter of faith not a matter of science.
It is similar to asking what would happen if science proved the earth really was only 6000 years old. I doubt I would be the only one whose faith in science would be shaken but something like that.
