RIt would be no harder to make football a degree program random thoughts Send a noteboard - 09/04/2011 05:11:13 PM
Than it would to make any performing art a degree program. Why is ballot our theater more worthy of being a degree program than football. And sorry there is a great deal of knowledge required to play the sport correctly and it isn't a gladiator sport. Even a big dumb offensive lineman has to be able to recognize the defense that is setting up, know where the blitz are coming from and know what his responsibility. And that is for every play they have in their playbook. Hell you could argue that knowing how to play the position of Quarterback correctly is mentally harder than most liberal art degree programs. Lest be honest hard hard is it to read a book and give your opinion of it? In fact it is harder for the QB because he has to learn all thousands of things he needs to not only know but know so well he reacts instinctively plus he has to carry a full class load.
