I always love Locus ones Ellestra Send a noteboard - 03/04/2011 12:49:30 AM
And they kept with quality this year with stories about Peter Watts and Paolo Bacigalupi shared universe that is supposed to be the answer to the unreasonable optimism of other such shared ventures. But it just made me want the stories from the future of bleak, uncompromising wretchedness. How great the anthology with stories from Watts, Bacigalupi and Chiang would be? I also liked the one about SFWA suing reality and god for copyright violations. They are all at http://www.locusmag.com/

My favourite this year however was on Tor.com. They posted an excerpt from Scalzi's new fantasy novel and the first sentence alone made my day.
Evolution, just like gravity, works even if you don't believe in it.

Stupidity doesn't hurt but it kills.
