The goal of this survey is not only to entertain you, but to actually NOT get moved. It's like I'm a newb or something. argh.
Wait, you're not?
1. How old where you when you got your first job?
Define "job". Are we talking hand jobs or just blow jobs? Seriously, do you mean "the guy down the street paid me to feed his cat while he was gone" or "I got a summer job" or "I am working full time"? If it's the first thing I think I got paid $25 to feed three cats for a long weekend when I was 12. If it's a summer job then I worked as a law clerk between my junior and senior years in high school (and returned to that job the next summer and intermittently after that), so I was 17. If it's a full-time job then it was when I was 24.
2. What was your first job?
If feeding cats counts, it was feeding cats for 4 days. If summer jobs count, it was working as a law clerk. If real jobs only count, it was working as an attorney.
3. How long did you work there?
If feeding cats counts, it was about 30 minutes a day for four days. If the summer job counts, I worked three summers and a few other extended break periods on and off. If it was my first job as an attorney, I was at that firm for 2 years before changing to another one.
4. What's the oldest person you know who is (or was) sponging off their parents still (I do NOT mean college students, but say that guy down the street who lets his gf pay for their fun, and lives with his mom - all while not going to school or working for no other reason than... he doesn't feel like getting a job)
I don't talk to the people down the street, and I live and work in New York. People around here don't live with their parents. In many cases, their parents aren't even in this country.
5. (If you live in a part of the world where you have to drive) How old were you when you got your driver's license?
I was 14 when I got a permit and 16 when I got my license.
6. Did you wait way past the time when you COULD get your license?
You do the math.
7. Did you graduate from college?
That's a safe assumption, isn't it?
8. What did you major in?
Russian Language and Literature
9. Did you get a job in your field?
No. I went to law school after college.
10. If not, what do you do? Did you need a degree to get this job?
Self-explanatory.
There is my 10 questions for the day. Maybe I'll ask more tomorrow. Maybe.
