only THREE total quotes from the princess bride in the quote database? don't worry, i just did my part to rectify the situation

As the submitter of the three Princess Bride quotes, I salute you.

Not only was the movie so terrific, but the book itself...wow. It is one of the funniest books I have ever read in my life. And the sequel, Buttercup's Baby?!

Tells me more....

It's really an epilogue to the 25th edition, which discuss how Goldman tried to write an abridgement of the sequel, but ran into trouble with the Morganstern estate or the rights to abridge the sequel, how he travels to Maine to plead with the estate's preferred abridger and actual descendant of Florinese immigrants, Stephen King...etc. But a sample set of chapters is also included (the following is copied from Wikipedia) :

The chapter consists of a disjointed assemblage of stories about the quartet's escape to "One Tree Island", and the eventual kidnapping of Waverly, Westley and Buttercup's daughter, by a skinless-faced "madman" who eventually throws her off a mountainside. The chapter ends with Fezzik, Waverly's appointed babysitter, leaping off the mountain to save her, and then cradling her to preserve her from the impact that seems certain to spell at least Fezzik's doom. Also noteworthy is a flashback to Inigo's past, his training as a swordsman, and his one-time romantic love interest.

Yes, you read that write, a skinless-faced madman. It's bizarre, and a bit weird, but a lot of fun. And I think you need to have a 25th anniversary edition to find it.
The chief difficulty Alice found at first was in managing her flamingo.
