In the comments below the article I linked, there are a few that completely disagree with the law that is being proposed, including one person who talks about the "coward liberals", or something like that. *shrug* I guess it's not as controversial as those long-islanders think it is.
For me it is an obvious safety issue, but I know that not everyone shares my good sense.
