Re: What protests? Nebhead Send a noteboard - 25/01/2011 09:23:17 AM
How about these:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bristol_Riots
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tonypandy_Riot
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Cable_Street
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brixton_riot_%281981%29
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Handsworth_riots

Or, you want students? This is a proper student protest: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Scholastica_riot

Seriously. Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_riots, search for England and/or UK, and see a) how few there are, and b) how serious those few are. Trust me, the recent student protest (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_student_protest_in_London) count of 14 injured and 35 arrested is absolutely nothing.
It's all my fault...
