I don't read my husband's or children's private correspondence without asking. Just how I was raised. However my husband has not given me reason to read his private mail or messages.

I can understand him letting the first husband know once he did have the information. That would be a hard thing to justify not telling when a child is involved.

Jail time though? Nah.
