One should also remember that after repeated delays to avoid passing taxes or budget before the election, when Reid began putting other things on the agenda ahead of tax/budget the GOP pledged to filibuster everything till that was done, Reid should never have tried for all these delays, and certainly shouldn't cry at the GOP response or try to call their bluff this way.
