Nothing really comes to mind as far something like this goes...

For example, my biggest pet peeve (I think I've officially decided) is when someone endangers me or others on the road by doing something ridiculous -- like speeding up the right lane and then jumping back into the left lane when a group of people are slowly passing a semi or some other slower-than-average vehicle. Usually, the people in the left lane get angry about this, and scrinch up so close to each other's asses that there is no space to get over.
I will do this if someone is being a complete jerk and going like 10 under the limit in the passing lane. And not even passing anyone/not moving over after passing someone. But I don't think that's what you're talking about...
In your example, I personally choose not to play that game since they might genuinely be in a hurry (usually not, but I'd feel awful if it were true).
Sooo, let's say the car that's just now pulling up next to the object being passed almost gets hit during the fight between the jerk and the car directly behind her who has already performed a more than adequate scrinching. What should she do? Slow down so it takes forever for the jerk to get past the semi, maybe? Flip him off when he starts hand gesturing wildly and shouting what appear to be juicy curses?
Just so he understands, mind you! I did that for his learning benefit. Mostly.
I have to admit that I feel pretty pleased with myself right now. I'm such a jerk.

When someone pet peeves you, do you do anything about it? (Includes NSSP story!)

I hate it when people use nouns or phrases as a verb (e.g., "pet peeve" as a verb).

You might want to block me then. Your life will be much more comfortable.

Comfortable, perhaps, but lacking a certain je ne sais quoi. *NM*

I don't think that qualifies as a pet peeve.

Did you remember to pump your break often but unpredictably? 'Cos that's the best part.
