No, *9/5+32=28.4; if you're gonna do math, might as well do it right.

I'm not being snippy, really; you can figure it out precisely as easily as estimating, so why be vague? It's not linear regression with fifty data points; you do three operations (two if you feel like multiplying by 1.. If you're used to Fahrenheit there's actually one less number to remember; how do you turn 100 into 180? Multiply by 1.8 or 9/5. Then you add the 32; if you use Fahrenheit and don't know water freezes at 32 and boils at 212, you've got bigger problems than temperature conversion.

I want to ask, even though I think it will make me angry: What is the temperature where you are?

It's a balmy 3C (37F) here. It's the warmest it's been in a week and a half

Merely commenting on her absurd choice of temperature scale.

Well that is fair enough. I was ready to object as her post is at least an E if not a D, gradewise.

-4,5 C at the moment. Just stopped snowing, I think there's about 30 centimetres now

-11 or -12°C ≈ 10-12°F. But temperatures as high as 6°C forecast for later this week! *NM*

It is currently 24 F, -4 C. No snow currently, total of 1 inch for the season so far. Ridiculous. *NM*
