But he HAD to come in and ruin it.
My brother interrupts. He waltzes in, in the middle of my show and talks over it:
"Have you ever gone into a restaurant at closing time and had the person say, 'we're cleaning up for close, I'm going to box you in with these chairs,' and then box you in?"
No. No I have not. Because I don't go into restaurants when they are closing. I think it's rude.
"But the girl just looked at me like I was an idiot because I asked how much the fries weighed."
Well, that's a weird question.
"No, it's not. It's a FRUGAL question. I'm not just gonna fork over my money."
Well, I'm just telling you that if it were me and I didn't know you, I would think it was weird.
(clearly getting more and more upset) "But she was just being rude."
People just don't ask how much it weighs! Why are you getting angry with me? I'm just explaining why she might have looked at you weirdly.
"Well she said to her manager, 'this guy is an idiot, he doesn't even know what he wants,'"
Why are you getting angry at me?
"Because I think you are automatically taking their side because you're against me."
Well, I'm not. I'm trying to explain how the rest of the world thinks. That kind of a question is weird.
"Well that's just stupid."
Okay. *turns on the show*
"Okay, so THIS is normal but me asking how much fries weigh is weird?"
WHY WON'T HE JUST LEAVE ME ALONE TO WATCH MY SHOW?!?!

1. How many difficult people are in your life?
Not counting students?
None, I think. I have made it a study to avoid difficult people.
2. How do you deal with them?
I leave.
3. Do you think asking how much fries weigh is an out of the ordinary question?
Yes.
4. Would it be going too far to cut out his tongue?
Yes. Somewhat.
5. During which shows do you hate to be interrupted?
Any that I care about. Especially during emotional moments. Action I can take in while doing something else, but emotion requires focus.
