The US, I'll grant you, though hardly by that much. Japan or South Korea on a good day could beat the US without it being a huge upset.
They just hosted the tournament 8 years ago. There's no way that FIFA will award the tournament to them this soon. I'd bet a huge amount of money on that.
As far as teams go, yeah, Japan and South Korea have decent sides, I wasn't disparaging their teams at all, I was simply saying they have almost no chance of getting the tournament because they hosted it in 2002.
