I actually support going to a 3-4 and drafting Knowshon Moreno, so, technically, he's made TWO decisions with which I agree. Amid dozens of others that horrified me. The best one remains trying to set up a three way trade to get Cassell back AND Detroits #1 overall pick in exchange for Cutler, all before he'd finished unpacking. His story is that none of that was his idea, he just responded to suggestions by others (sound familiar...?
)
The guy's an arrogant know-it-all who doesn't know nearly as much as he thinks, and that would be bad enough, but he's officially a veteran cheater in my book now, which he somehow makes WORSE by thinking he's so much smarter than the rest of the League that they can't catch him (even though is the second time they have). What do we have to show for it but a 3-7 record that should give us a good draft pick--assuming the League doesn't strip us of it like they did the LAST team that taped opposing practices on McDaniels' watch. He can't even be honest with his own team and fans.

Hopefully this will finally get McDaniels fired from the Broncos

I think the evidence should be thrown out based on their sucking in that game. *NM*

Was the session closed?

The LEAGUE said no one could tape it, and virtually shouted it at the Cheatriots after Spygate.

So they were allowed to watch but not tape?

Well, I suppose they could spend all their time watching the '9ers practice if the skipped their own

Or just send an extra guy there

Probably would still be illegal, but I'm not sure it could be done so easily.

Then why not practice behind closed doors?

Normally they do, at least part of the time, but there were extenuating circumstances.

My point is that all they'd have to do is tell the people running Wembley

Closed practices are fairly common, but I'm not sure how it works when BOTH teams are "visitors".

I presume they staggered the practices

Logical, but there was a definite time crunch, which affected both teams.

Pretty sad when the Faders can tut tut Denver for poor sportsmanship though.

Cut blocks are legal, chop blocks aren't.

cut blocks are illegal at the LOS and also sometimes in the open field depending on the play

Have a source for that? 'Cos I can't find one.

my mistake. cut blocking is only illegal if done below the knees

No biggy; I only know 'cos Denver fans have to deal with these accusations a dozen times a year
