In wintertime the average low is 22 degrees and the average high is 48 degrees. Our house is about 1800 square feet and average heating cost with natural gas is about $150. The last of our children has moved out so it might go down further this year. The insulation on the house is almost non-existent. But it is a sweet little house with all sorts of sentimental value so we are okay with that.

*Edit* The average temp. in the house is 68 degrees.
