There's been a lot of that this cycle, sincere and conscientious conservative Republicans purged by radical demagogues. The most heart rending case, for me, is still Inglis, who spent the past decade realizing that when he conducted himself that way during the Clinton administration it hurt the country--so now that he's learned his lesson he's been replaced by someone who hasn't.

It's actually worse than under Bush 43. I didn't think it possible and still can't understand how we got here, but we did. Vote Not Republican/Not Democrat in 2012.
