Happy Kristallnacht! Or "frohlich" if we're doing it properly. Cannoli Send a noteboard - 09/11/2010 11:46:34 PM
The awesome thing about America is that Kristallnacht occurs the night before the birthday of the US Marine Corps, so you can blame the broken windows on rowdy Marines. And they didn't fight the Nazis so there's no conflict. Also there's a ton of other ethnic groups in America so you don't need to limit it to Jews. That way when you need your shoes fixed the next day, Mr. Goldsomething isn't occupied sweeping up his shop. You can go after the windows of your lazier groups like the Irish or Russians and not impact the services you receive.

Just so we're clear, I'm trying to revive the holiday so we can have a festive opportunity to engage in something that's really fun and you almost nbever get to do except by accident. I would never do it to pick on the Jews. (why scare them away before the camps are built? But seriously, I kid. I actually lost kin in the Holocaust. I'll never forget the tragic story of how Uncle Schnitzel fell out of a guard tower)
