Re: Well, not to point out the obvious, but she was Speaker of the House

Seriously, i heard so much negative talk about her during this election but no one ever said anything about why they specifically hate her so much? is it the creepy plastic surgery? cuz other than that i cant off the top of my head remember her doing or saying anything other democrats were not saying.
When you're the leader, 'doing or saying' what others say tends to unsurprisingly end up at your doorstep, you might as well ask why people don't like Bush, Palin, or Rush - their various views aren't exactly uncommon in nature or presentation, at most they popularized some ideas.
As for why she holds a special distaste for some of us, I suggest you do some basic research, very few politicians have managed to spew that much inflammatory partisan rhetoric without being sidelined as angry fringe sorts. Its only been a few months since she outright accused the right of conspiring and funding an anti-mosque movement and called for an investigation. I've gotta say, I feel pretty justified being pissed at someone who is accusing me of being both ignorant and corrupt then saying that without evidence we should be investigated for doing something which even if we had done it would be totally legal. Then there's her little song and dance with the CIA Briefings, she tried to get 2 billion dollars in funding to the now discredited ACORN, a big chunk of her own party despise she for her control tactics, she's seriously pissed of her own church by getting things wrong and trying to arm twist them into openly supporting amnesty, which apparently had overtones of trying to arm-twist the priests into preaching it. "Some (who) oppose immigration reform are sitting in those pews, and you have to tell them that this is a manifestation of our living the gospels," is just not something you say to a conference of priests and damned ironic when you've stated that the Catholic Church's stance on abortion is "unclear", which probably surprised the hell out of the Pope.
Let's see, what else makes my teeth grind about this woman... She outright said Bush was personally to blame for every soldier who died in the War, which pisses off most of us War Veterans who usually blame terrorists and insurgents for those deaths. She said of Republicans “They’ll take food out of the mouths of children in order to give tax cuts to the wealthiest.”, which in case your wondering, yes most of us right-wingers do tend to dislike people who accuse of us starving children.
hmmm, i like her even more now. The woman has balls.
So yeah, I could go on and on, you might not agree with me, but as for why we hate her, that would be some of the reasons. Considering all the nasty comments you regularly post about republicans, I'd say our active distaste for "that woman" are at least as valid as yours.
fair enough.

I'm not sure that's enough; Pelosi's far more liberal than either of them.
