With a machine that old you'll be getting awful performance anyway and other components will start to go too. YOu'll be continuously replacing stuff.


Not to mention that parts for older equipment are becoming hard to locate as they're no longer made. Heck, the selection of memory that's compatible with what I already have is already next to nothing - and I built it only a year ago.
