normally i find that andy roddick is the american tennis player with no class, but tonight serena had a total meltdown on the court at the worst possible time to have one. i understand the frustration she was feeling, being that she was completely outplayed by clijsters up and down the court all night. but there is no excuse for her behavior on the last two points of the match to basically default the victory to clijsters because she couldn't focus her anger on the match where it belonged.
well, i guess it's good for serena that she's still got a few good years left to play, because if this was her last match ever, it would completely taint her legacy in the game.
EDIT: after the match serena says "i don't know why the line judge would say she felt threatened". gee, i don't know, maybe it's because you said you were going to "shove this ball down your throat for that bad call"?? maybe??
