What's happening to me fits with the early stages of the problem. And it makes sense for it to show itself now because my health is generally run down at the moment.

I will find out, once all of the tests are back.

Apparently not synonyms, but RA is the only example they give of IJD, plus they say it is auto-immune. No other example comes to mind. *shrug*

My guess is that the terminology is used to group syndromes that look like RA but don't quite follow it exactly. I had never heard of it before.
