This is one problem/struggle that has followed me all my life. Hasn't gotten better. Is this familiar? Have you been able to conquer being late?

Mind you, I'm nineteen, so I am a clueless, irresponsible young buck and have no idea why I'm such a fail

It's been like this for me for about 3 years now. Not quite sure why exactly it happens (even my best efforts to be on time have a 50-50 chance of being thwarted!). Growing up, I remember my parents being anal about punctuality. Maybe I'm unconsciously rebelling against them? I've also heard my grandfather was perpetually late. Even to his own wedding!

More real factors include:
a) The Transit service in my city is terrible
b) Factor in bad weather
c) I am very healthy - I cook my own food, and avoid prepackaged food. So a lot of my between transit time (for instance, the precious 45-60 minutes I get between school and work on a weeknight), I'm doing stuff, and thus get delayed
d) I exercise a lot, and need roughly 8 to 10 hours. That gives me limited time in the morning unless I go to bed at 9. Then I can't fully study (Typically get home at 5.45)!

I guess I really need to organise and manage my time. I am improving, I haven't been late in these past two weeks
