The dealership probably won't sell a car at cost unless they have a car they have not been able to move. They may make a lot of money of finance but with used cars they make a lot of money off the car as well. If it is a new car just get on line and try every dealership near you to get the best price.

You don't have to accept a crappy loan deal just wait until the end tell them you don't like their financing and want to pay cash. Wait until they have listed all their stuff like dealer prep fees. They won't tell you that you can only buy the car if take their loan.

Don’t get sold. Know what you want and don’t get talked into anything else.
