But, you know, even then, put the political part of it aside.

Even if it was just him whining about he couldn't afford dental care and made no mention of anyone else paying for it. Fuck that shit if I'm going to sit here and not have an opinion on it and his behavior. I don't care how "personal" it is. It stops being private when he trumpets his business on a public forum.
If someone posted regularly on this board about how much they liked to eat all the time and then posted something about how they felt awful about being fat but then indicated that they weren't changing things at all, I wouldn't be replying in a sympathetic manner.
If I posted, say, for years about how I enjoyed having anonymous, unprotected sex with men from around the country, I wouldn't expect too much sympathy if I then posted about having a disease. Or, at the very least, I'd expect someone to question me on my previous "personal choices". But, no! We couldn't do that. They were my "personal choices", right? Bullshit. I made them public and public they will be.
Honey, when you post about your life and your choices for all the world to see, then they have a right to have an opinion on them. I didn't violate his privacy one damned bit. He comes here posting about his life ad nauseam and we're all supposed to just nod and agree? Screw that. If he wants his "personal choices" to be personal, then he can shut the fuck up about them. It was his "personal choice" to make the facts of his life known to virtual strangers. To excoriate someone for discussing their opinions of his public statements is unreasonable and childish and unfair. This isn't a tea party. Grow up.
