I'm sure we recycled more place names from Britain and Ireland than from anywhere else, but Birmingham, AL is probably the most successful example, so naturally I think of it rather than the English city when I hear the name.
We think it is cute you can't come up with many of your own place names. Bless
I can remember someone posting to say were in Jersey caused confusion here, as several Americans asked how long they were in the US for
I'm not sure it won't backfire as a marketing tool; I only played it three times (finally getting close to 25k) because once it starts recycling locations the game gets to be more like Concentration than Risk.
I'm guessing the fact that it has been posted here and you have played it three times means it is doing rather well as a marketing tool. It would only have failed if no one heard of it. Like the Quantas version

The game's broken; Birmingham's not on the map (it doesn't go farther west than FL. )

Probably just an advertizing thing - to show people all the cities they fly to from the US. *NM*

Pretty sure it's random. I didn't get a single Portuguese city. *NM*

Sure, but the red dots in the first phase indicate all the cities they're ever gonna ask. *NM*

18101. ...yeah. A few of those were stupid mixups, though, like reading Venice instead of Vienna. *NM*
