I'm sure you're well aware that I'm a hardcore libertarian without all that wacko libertarian "let's not have an army" nonsense. When I see the anti-gay platform pushed, or the abstinence program pushed, or a lot of other social conservative agenda items, I sit back and think, "Let's be realistic."

I'm not gay and I'm not planning on asking my wife to have an abortion - ever - and I don't really like marijuana. On the other hand, all of those issues ultimately boil down to morality and, with the possible exception of abortion (depending on your view of life), they end up creating crimes or prohibiting behavior that would be victimless. I am not in favor of anything being illegal that is not a trespass against a person or entity or their respective property.
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.
