But then, I'm speaking from a secure long term relationship, if 5.5 years can be called long term yet. It still feels new at times.

What I learned about love is that when it's right, there's not a lot of hassle. It just flows naturally. I don't buy into the drama, where people hold on to toxic relationships under the guise of "but I love him/her!" It's not worth it, and they're keeping themselves from finding someone worth while.

One of the things I remember when I was still dating was that I realized that I needed to be the kind of person that someone I want would want. Not as in, pretend to be someone I'm not, but as in, growing as a person. I had a lot of growing to do. Still do, to be honest.


Hollywood definitely contributes to a lot of that and it's total bollocks. TOTAL. Love...is. You can't force it, and if you're unhappy it's not love (I don't mean you should be happy all the time ).
