My wife and I witnessed a total meltdown of a cashier.
A young man was running the registers when he couldn't get a credit card to scan. The manager was a middle aged woman who was trying to explain what he did wrong and how to fix it. He just went off the deep end. He started out with just screaming and yelling. But before he was done, he was standing on the counter throwing trays and cups and anything else he could grab. The manager called the police but the guy took off before the cops got there. I think everyone there was looking around like, "WTF just happened?".
I've seen employees get upset and quit a job. I've seen people lose it and get into a shouting match. But I've never seen anything like this before or since.

In America we burn people at the stake for disrupting church services, like decent civilized folk.
