Or at least one to which I would like your opinions.
My last name is White and if I ever have a daughter, I fully intend for at least one of her names to be Snow. Either first name or the name just before the last name.
What do you think? Pretentious? Cute? Asking for a superiority complex?
EDIT: I should point out that I have wanted to do this for about 10 years now.

I'm not innocent, if I have a say, I'd like to name a daughter 'Viridian'. Which is a lovely word that means green.
Snow definitely makes for an awkward first name. And with the white added on, every person who meets her her entire life is going to comment on that. I used to get called Willy Wonka a lot in grade school by a couple of adults, it does get annoying. (And no, my last name is not Wonka, they just called me that anyway! ).
After Joel's post about names below, I have a question...a serious one.

I rather doubt you'll get many supportive reactions.

Snow for the middle name.

You'd have to make it a double-barrelled first name, otherwise it'd just be "Yellow White".

Sorry to be a spoilsport, but playing silly buggers with your children's lives is just not cool. *NM*

On a more embarassing note, I love the name Virginia, that would be worse than snow by a mile ...

Awesome! Have fun explaining the meaning of "snowballing" to a ten-year-old girl.

If you have a son, name him Major Major and change his last name to Major.

Everyone is being too nice. It's a stupid idea. And it's selfish. Leave "cute" names for your dog. *NM*

Don't. Have it as her nickname, but not her real name. It's charming but also charmingly silly. *NM*

I don't think this is a terribly good idea, for many of the reasons posted - but I have a suggestion
