Hm. Some of the tile/inlay work of mosques I've seen on TV are incredible. That patterns are very organic and beautiful. There's one building I learned of in my art history class that used lapis lazuli. I can't remember the name of it or even which empire it is from. In fact, it might not even be a mosque. Just beautiful.
