I've never had a pair that didn't die within about 2 times out running.
But I know what he's saying...buying headphones drives me nuts. I can't find a pair that can actually handle sweat without dying in a couple months. In the last year I've gone through about...4 pairs of different $30-$50 headphones.
I finally bought a pair of like $20 JVC headphones, and shockingly they've lasted longer than any of the others, including several pairs of "sweat resistant" expensive earbuds.
