My friend Pierre and a friend of his will be travelling around the world from Monday until May next year. The friend was having goodbye drinks last night, and although I don't know her too well I came along as a mutual friend wanted to stay at my place afterwards, rather than stay sober and drive home.
What are you doing? I thought about being lazy, but it turns out that one of the 300 people I know whose birthdays are in the summer is having a thing tonight. Apparently, it involves mussels and pommes frites and beer.

I have the yummiest pommes frites the other day, seasoned with fennel salt. A bit odd but very tasty.
