Good show, though. I don't think anyone can complain about the result.
I'd wanted Spain to win beforehand, but the way the Netherlands played made me really want Spain to win.
I think I was probably supporting Spain more today than I have done England at any point. (And probably would have done even if the Dutch hadn't decided that their game plan was to kick seven shades of shit out of the Spanish).
That said, Netherlands definitely had their moments. They had fewer chances, but Robben's opportunities seemed so much more certain. Credit due to both Casillas and blind luck I guess. Spain also had a lot less space to pass than they have done in pretty much any other match I think. They certainly struggled more than they did against Germany (who beforehand I would've thought were better than Holland).
Sneider played disappointingly again, but this time didn't get a lucky goal to distract people from that.
Also, betting-wise, somehow over the course of the entire World Cup I have come out...exactly even. No idea how.

Oh, how simply grand it is to be travelling by dirigible again. Direct us to the west good sir, tonight we will remember what it is to live.

I don't like Howard Webb, but I'd personally blame Holland for ruining the flow of the game. *NM*

Oh, I agree with all of those points. Earlier action could have made for a cleaner match too, maybe.
