Final itself was a drab affair, England ref was blowing his whistle non-stop, ruined the flow of the game, even with the England not in the final they still found a way to make it boring. Although to be fair to the ref, the Dutch had adopted an ugly, 'hatchet-job' style of play and making some horrid fouls.

Still a good goal from Spain in the end, they did the job.
